Buck Thomas Park

Of the many Moore-area city parks, Buck Thomas is the largest and has the most to offer. It features, just to name a few things, a skate park, athletic fields, a walking trail, picnic areas, pavilions, playgrounds and more. It is also the site for several large annual events, including the city’s July 4th festival known as Celebration in the Heartland and the Easter egg hunt festivities. 1903 NE 12th St, Moore, OK 73160, USA July 2021- In order to prepare for Celebration in the Heartland, Buck Thomas Park will close to the public Friday (7/2) at 6pm and will re-open Sunday (7/4) at 1pm. Registered vendors will have access. Buck Thomas Park will again close to the public after the Celebration in the Heartland event and will remain closed until Tuesday, July 6.
