Downtown Oklahoma City
Downtown Oklahoma City, located in the middle of Oklahoma City’s metropolitan area, is the main business district. Over 51,000 workers reside in the district, with more than 12,000,000 sq.ft (1,100,000.m2) of available office space. Oklahoma City is the financial, cultural, economic, nightlife, entertainment and legal center of the region.
There are several districts in downtown Oklahoma City that surround the Central Business District. These include A-Alley (retail-oriented), Bricktown Entertainment District and Bricktown Residential Neighborhood, as well as the Flatiron District. Official/new areas of downtown OKC are “Lower Bricktown”, MidTown Urban Neighborhood, SOSA (South of Saint Anthony ‘hospital’), WestTown. Also, Film Row, Farmer’s Market and the new Downtown South ‘Core-2-Shore’ neighborhoods.
