Tulsa Arts District can be found in the northern part of downtown Tulsa. It borders Denver to the west, Elgin to the north, and the IDL (I-244) to the north. The railroad tracks are on the south. The history of the District

One of the oldest parts of Tulsa is the Tulsa Arts District. It’s home to many cultural icons, including the Cain’s Ballroom or the Ole Lady of Brady – now The Tulsa Theater. Most of the buildings that remain are made from red brick and were once used as warehouses. In 2009, the name “Arts” was created to reflect the high concentration of performance and visual arts that can be found in the area. The Tulsa Arts District Business Owners Association decided in 2017 to replace “Brady”, with “Tulsa.”
